Comment:

 I rebuilt all my linux binaries, redownloaded the gog version of comi;
 purged the android versions and redownloaded them as well, now it's
 working as intended.
 I have no idea what happened, but I was staring at empty credits before I
 made this bugreport.
 Sorry for the noise.
