 @BeWorld2018: I've pushed a shorter fix, suggested by ccawley2011. It
 works for me on my PowerBook G4, so I've pushed it to `branch-2-9` as
 well.

 Feel free to reopen this ticket if you still encounter any issue on
 MorphOS after this change. Thanks!
