 I see. Well as I said because of security reasons we can't add explicit
 and universal support to modified versions, unless they are complete mods
 (like, for example, the ultimate talkie versions of the first two Monkey
 Island). And because all the different SCUMM platforms have their own
 different driver selection heuristics, proper detection entries are
 necessary in order to avoid the need to modify settings like you have to
 do now.

 I'm afraid I personally can't help you with that. But if you happen to
 produce a full fledged mod, we might be able to have a detection entry so
 that you don't have to perform additional operations.

 I'll leave the ticket open for a while, maybe some other dev can chime in
 on this...
