 Okay. I checked all the merchants. 42 Communications is good enough for
 all merchants in the plazas and the saurus seller. You need it slightly
 higher for the apothecary and magic shop and considerably higher for a
 sword at the weapon shop. (He doesn't haggle on daggers.)

 It appears Sierra chose this number because it was the same in DOSBox.
 They may have changed it in a later patch that I never got or I may be
 just misremembering.
