 The "pick game" dialog is not great but expected - it should show Willy
 Beamish and then a bunch of (Unknown variant) options.  This is because it
 includes the same file names as a bunch of Sierra games.

 As for the sound, I'm also using the GOG version and it works fine here -
 could you double-check that the SFX is enabled in the game menu?

 That is, from the esc menu [[Image(sfx-enabled.png)]] and not [[Image(sfx-
 disabled.png)]]
