Comment:

 Testing again with commit 5f382329f1927e97d75443635728a5436d5d5965 and
 several Sega CD saves I have (from: 2009, 2010, 2019, 2022, 2024), it's
 all good to me now (even with UBSan/ASAN on).

 (Well, in some of these, I hit ticket #15886 warnings, but that's another
 subject.)
