#15910: SCI: LSL6: Exits get disabled or crash in the room before exiting the hotel
from left - ORIGINAL BUG
---------------------------------+-------------------------
Reporter:  antoniou79            |      Owner:  (none)
    Type:  defect                |     Status:  new
Priority: normal | Component: Engine: SCI
 Version:                        |   Keywords:
    Game: Leisure Suit Larry 6 |
---------------------------------+-------------------------
 This was tested with 2.9.0 on Windows and also 2.10.0git recent daily
 build, with the GOG version of LSL6 (hi-res/DOS/English) in High
 resolution mode.

 I have also tested with DosBox and it is showing the same buggy behavior
 (ie. the exits get disabled).

 Starting the game (in the hotel reception) go four (4) screens to the
 left.
 Then exit to the left (going out in the hotel yard) and return back into
 the hotel exiting to the right.

 When entering the hotel corridor from the left, Larry automatically walks
 a few steps before stopping. The player still has control of Larry.

 If the player clicks relatively quickly, before Larry finishes his
 automatic walk, the exits of that scene get disabled. Also, if the player
 is very quick, Larry's pathfinding can also get bugged and he can walk on
 walls (see attached screenshot).

 I also got an error in that scene while trying to make the exits work
 (clicking towards the right side of the scene)
 {{{
 ERROR: [lsl6hires-1.000.000
  680/64977 Grooper::doit @ 01ae]: lookupSelector: Attempt to send to non-
 object or invalid script. Address 0000:0000!
 }}}
 but this happened only a couple of times, and I cannot seem to reproduce
 it any more.

 The player can "fix" the exits, if they select the hand action and click
 on one of the door handles, in which case Larry will knock on the
 corresponding door and then the exits will work again.
