#16152: Putt Putt Goes to the Moon - Graphics Glitches in ScummVM 2.9+
---------------------------------------+----------------------
Reporter: jasonteknut | Owner: (none)
    Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: normal | Component: Graphics
 Version: | Keywords:
Game: Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon |
---------------------------------------+----------------------
 ScummVM version (scummvm -v): 2.9.0 and 2.9.1
Bug details, including step-by-step instructions to reproduce the bug:
Play game normally. Blocky chunks of characters appear and disappear in
many scenes. It begins most notably at the bridge over the moon-goo, where
half of Rover disappears during the rescue. The "makeover" shop has severe
glitches where the makeover machine will rise and there will be nothing
there at all, and a disembodied head will pop into existence when it
starts speaking. Last, the graphics coloring is a lot less saturated and
 rich in ScummVM 2.9+
Language of game (English, German, ...): English
Version of game (CD, Floppy, DOS, Amiga, ...): Windows CD
Your OS, including version and device if appropriate (Windows 10 build
 1709 32-bit, Debian 9.2 x86_64, Android 7.0 on Samsung Galaxy S7, ...):
 MacOS 12.7.6
If this bug only occurred recently, please note the last version
without the bug, and the first version including the bug. That way we can
fix it quicker by looking at the changes made.: This issue does not exist
in ScummVM 2.8.1. The first version with the bug is 2.9.0 and still exists
in 2.9.1. I tried all graphics modes, some different renderers, scalers,
shaders, and other settings, but the glitch exists regardless of graphics
settings. Only downgrading to 2.8.1 or earlier resolves the issues.
