That also suggests a way to try to avoid the crash, and why I avoided it
with sound settings. I maybe wasn't loading the sound files. Instead of
using the in game save\load menu, try to use the scummvm one, try to save
in the conversation that way (in a new save, be aware that Ags sometimes
behaves badly if you try to save in conversations\animations which the
original engine didn't allow but scummvm does), and try to set up all
settings you can to minimal (so scummvm shaders off, UI basic, UI scaling
normal, scummvm antialiasing off etc).
Another thing to try is to go into the cfg for the current Ags game and
set up a higher (but not too high) cache for video memory setting (the
settings and its subconfig location are somewhere in the GitHub adventure
game studio page and the config file will be somewhere in the scummvm
sandbox for saves, not sure it's accessible from iOS, it's not in Android
without exporting, altering then importing again the scummvm config).
Sorry about the vagueness, I really did get through this crash(es) just by
loading saves from the scummvm interface and turning off all sounds and
clicking through the dialogs fast enough to get to the end and just
clicking esc to skip dialogs\cutscenes when I could I think. I don't
recall if this is one of the games you can try to save in dialog for AGS
and get away with it, if that doesn't work, don't try to force it (and
don't overwrite a old save to try it).
