 Just a brief gameplay status update :

 As of daily build windows-x86-64-master-8408bf1a dated 11/30/25, game has
 regressed from previous status.  Instead of starting, playing thru it's
 opening credit screen & cutscene and then entering gameplay mode, game now
 immediately freezes at a gray screen with "Loading..." displayed in the
 upper left corner of the screen and "Director-Player  J.R. Friedl  1996"
 displayed in the lower right corner.
