 This is because Ctrl+M is mapped in the Global Keymaps (Global Options ->
 Keymaps) to "Toggle mouse capture" action.

 As a workaround you can remap that action, from the Global Keymaps tab, to
 another keymap or clear it altogether.

 I don't see specialized keymapped support for LSL7 (ie. adding the game's
 special keymaps as actions to the keymapper), but if we do add it, this
 would show up as a keymap to customize and would (probably) override the
 global one.
