 found another instance in the last level (cheat mode this time, as i
 cannot figure out how to reach the end of the river in fairy glades) :-)
 from the savegame: enter the upper teleporter, walk all the way down
 (level has been solved, only the crates are missing) and push any of the
 deflectors (looking like cannonballs) into the water...it will either quit
 at once, let you push another and quit then, or if you push the first and
 try to leave the level, quit then

 1 - puzzle mode
 2 - first bug (chicken) through gameplay, this one through cheat
 3 - i found the real solution to the chicken puzzle later on (you need to
 feed it)
 but i have no idea what would happen otherwise. it could be a game
 over/stuck forever situation or it could simply make the chicken reappear.
 I also don't remember if it was an optional riddle, which only gained you
 crystals or a mandatory keycard (the former would mean a dead chicken is
 bearable)

 stuck at walking - i never had that behaviour, but maybe it got fixed in
 v1.10 (it's the version the games tells me it has)
 speech bubbles - yep, they are cut
 sound problems - i didn't hear that, but i also never played the original,
 maybe it was also fixed in 1.10?

 one other thing i found while playing is overlapping speech.
 if you click through speech bubbles fast enough, the (first-time only)
 speech will play and overlap one another (*if* the character has more than
 one line)
 No idea how the original handled it, but i guess it should either wait for
 the line to finish (they aren't that long and play only the first time
 anyway) before one can click to the next bubble, or cut off the speech
 (ugly) and play the next
