 Ah damn just made a bug report for this myself, glossed over this bug
 report.

 I can confirm this bug occurring, it happens most often when I click on
 the vent when just having entered the bathroom via the door, so when my
 character is still far away. It is probably some incompatibility in the
 transition from a certain walk animation to the vent entering sequence.
