 After commit

 (pitch handling) environmental sound effects will endlessly repeat with no
 silence in-between. This occurs in any scene with these sound effects
 (which is most of them)

 The principle island port is a good place to test this. There are 2
 environmental sounds. The waves and the ship's horn. When you first get
 off the ship the horn sound will play and repeat endlessly. Eventually the
 game will trigger the waves sound too and that will also repeat.

 Normal DOS behaviour is for a random environmental sound to play at a
 random time but with gaps of silence in between.
