 I didn't have a direct savegame of this before I got the shoes upgrade,
 but I replayed some previous savegame until I got to the slope section. In
 this savegame, I talked to noone, I only got the winged boots and the
 shovel and made it to the slope section (which we can pass through without
 issue, even without having the shoe upgrade).
