 I could be wrong, but I think the anti-aliasing setting only applies to
 graphical shapes, e.g. the scrollbar handle:

 Font rendering seems to depend on the theme (not all themes have to use
 TrueType fonts) and the screen color depth. But I'll ask around to be
 sure.
