Comment:

I’ve noticed an issue related to the newly implemented Windows audio
behavior feature in ScummVM. Specifically, it concerns the balance between
music and speech during a particular sequence. After George leaves the
Musée Crune following his examination of the tripod, background music
begins to play, and George makes a comment.

In ScummVM, during his comment, the music volume remains consistent during
the first part ('The tripod was definitely the one on the manuscript – the
Templar connection confirmed it.'). However, as soon as George begins the
second part ('I was tempted to go to Ireland to check it out...'), the
music abruptly gets louder, making it harder to understand the rest of his
 line.

In the original Windows version of the game, the music volume stays
consistent throughout George’s entire comment and does not increase until
after he finishes speaking. While this issue is particularly noticeable in
this scene, it is possible that the bug may also occur in other parts of
the game. I hope this helps in identifying the issue.

I believe that further work on such subtleties is necessary, as the new
Reforged Edition does not replace the original game. While the Reforged
Edition brings many improvements, some aspects of the original game were
unfortunately removed, making it important to preserve the original
experience in ScummVM as faithfully as possible.
