 > My first investigation showed that the engine erroneously tries to draw
 those frames with a routine which uses shadow maps. It should use the
 normal TRLE routine. This is triggered by VAR(244) which contains the
 shadowMap number, which should be reset to 0 on each room change but
 whichever script does that is never executed.
