 That's mysterious. As soon as you start the game and the logo of the intro
 comes, you could press Ctrl+Alt+D to open the debug console, then type
 following:
 debuglevel 10
 [ENTER]
 exit
 [ENTER]

 Perhaps there will be more output that the dev can use.
