New description:

 My use case is the games in a home computer, while I use my tablet around
 the house and elsewhere, I set up a webdav server and installed RSAF in
 the tablet.

 As the android storage access framework struggles with many files, the
 tens of thousands that games like syberia and syberia 2 end up with when
 unpacked make many games impossible to use. But I suspect it would be
 quite possible with random access and a single large file, or fewer at
 least.
