 The 2.9.1.1 version with Android specific fixes (mostly) is ready and
 uploaded to the Play Store (pending review). It's also available from the
 [https://www.scummvm.org/downloads/#release ScummVM website (apk
 packages)].

 If you get to retry with 2.9.1.1, please let us know whether the issue is
 fixed for you or still persists.
