 You are correct, this error happens because that video format is not
 supported.
 I'll add a workaround to skip it, anyway in the meantime you can just
 rename the file atropos.avi to something else and the game will continue
 normally.

 The video is just an animation with the publisher logo, nothing related to
 the actual game.
