 I have checked a demo from Rings World and F1 does seem to work when
 entering the first stage, if @reedlove could confirm 2.9.0-2 (with the
 patch from korli) works I can ask to upstream the patch.
 The issue for that patch was reported at haikuports, where we keep track
 on issues like these:
