password in blue force
Comment:
I can reproduce the main issue (cannot enter the password) with 2.9.0 and
2.10.0git but not with 2.8.1.
This to me, without looking into the code yet, seems to be some keymapping
issue. While in password entering mode some gameplay keymaps should be
disabled or work differently, but that's not what happens in 2.9.0 and
above. For example, typing "T" changes the cursor icon to the "talk" icon,
which it shouldn't do. Same with typing "W"...
It seems that game specific keymapper support was added in 2.9.0, which is
likely to need a bit more tweaking to work properly and fix this bug.
As for the extra character (",") that appears in the password input field,
this seems to have been there since at least ScummVM 1.7, which is the
first official ScummVM build I could test with on Windows that would also
load the attached saved game. (The Blue Force game itself is supported
since ScummVM 1.5 according to our wiki anyway).
I am unsure, as of yet, if the extra character is a glitch/bug that also
happens in the original game.
