Well, I was exploring something else, and I happened to have a good setup
for this.
So, this SCUMMv5 implementation bug was fixed with ScummVM 0.9.1, back in
2006. After that, the workaround just wasn't fixing any lockup anymore.
Commit 2ffe4757578b7c27c76799a29da3dd05b5c86246 from Trac#2698 (about
Indy4) was the real fix for this Monkey2 problem.
(It may sound a bit absurd to update a 23-year-old ticket for this. But it
may have some value to know the various milestones of the accuracy of our
SCUMM implementation.)
