New description:
ScummVM version: 3.0.0git20088-gd58551d511b
When I tried to run Penumbra: Overture, all I got was debugging console
saying "ERROR: Couldn't load image 'notebook_front.bmp'!". I was pretty
confused, because I'd already run this very build of the game from start
to finish without ScummVM, and everything was fine. The game is absolutely
intact, so I tried to look up the missing file.
What I've found is that there are two versions of it in the game
directory, for two different languages. They are:
graphics\lang_specific\eng\notebook_front.bmp
graphics\lang_specific\rus\notebook_front.bmp
As I assume, the current engine implementation wasn't meant for
multilanguage versions of Penumbra, and thus attempted to look for the
file somewhere else different from its actual locations. I'd be glad if
this were fixed someday.
