Comment:

 This is original behavior due to missing resources.

 QFG4 CD is missing the audio for this message, so the message immediately
 completes because audio length is used to determine how long the message
 appears. Disable speech to read the message.

 There's nothing anyone can do about this, aside from writing a new mod
 that always displays this particular message in text mode.
