 Tested with ScummVM 2026.2.0 on Windows 10 x64

 When toggling the widescreen mod setting, to on or off, and applying the
 change, the "subtitles" setting for the game gets removed (if there was
 one).

 If the Global Options -> Audio setting is only "Speech" for "Text and
 Speech", then the user specific setting for subtitles in the Myst 3 game,
 gets cleared, and reset to "Speech" only, even if the user explicitly had
 enabled subtitles in the game.

 Steps to reproduce:
 - Launch ScummVM.
 - In Global Options -> Audio, set "Text and speech" to Speech (if not
 already set to thaT). Click ok.
 - Launch Myst 3.
 - From the in game menu, go to Options -> Languages. Enable the subtitles.
 - Exit the game, back to ScummVM launcher.
 - Click Edit Game for Myst 3 and toggle the widescreen mod checkbox.
 - Run the game. Subtitles will now be disabled.

 The workaround is to set "Global Options -> Audio -> "Text and speech" to
 Both.
