 Ah, so I've just gone looking and I found another version. So...

 I think that the one I was trying was extracted from a converted tap to
 tzx (using tapir) and the original tap file. The tzx tools appear to work
 on both formats. That tap is available at both:

 sphinx-jinx-incentive-software-ltd

 I don't know if it should identify the data from the tap. If it is not
 correct to use the tap file then I guess that's fine as I have a working
 tzx now.
