New description:

 On the evening of the first day, when Blade goes on a date with Karyn,
 some of the speech/thought bubbles flash on and off the screen too quickly
 to read:

 "A toast... To us!"
 "I can't believe I was almost dumb enough to blow it with this girl!"
 "ZZZzzz..."

 I've attached a screen recording.

 ETA: looking at the comment on ticket #15775, it seems like it might be
 useful to include a screen recording of what the timing looks like in
 dosbox, so I've attached that as well.

 ETA 2: added save game just before date. Click subway to fast travel to
 Karyn's.
