Comment (by cjover-n):

Using PC Speaker in DOSBox or in ScummVM reproduces the intro (“SIERRA”
logo) relatively well, but other tracks, such as the town music, are
omitted. This solution does not fully reproduce the original experience.

The last update where the IBM sound emulation worked correctly and
consistently, without missing tracks, was in ScummVM 2.8.0 (or 2.8.1).
That version reflects the audio as I remember it on my original hardware.

If possible, I would like to see an option in future versions to allow a
legacy IBM sound mode that reproduces the behavior of 2.8.0, so that for
some IBM setups the game can still be experienced as it originally
 sounded.
