 This is original behavior, not a ScummVM bug. It's easy to reproduce in
 the browser, type "sluicebox" for the message and at least one letter will
 go missing: https://archive.org/details/sierra-christmas-card-1986

 I've looked into this before, the only version without this bug is the
 fan-made CoCo3 version, and that author heavily rewrote the AGI scripts.
