 I am using ScummVM version 2026.1.0.

 In the fan modded game King's Quest IV Retold VGA + Talkie (the VGA
 version is actually a mod of a mod: The VGA version is a mod of the Retold
 version, which itself is a mod of Sierra's original), I am unable to input
 more than 10 manual saves. If I try to save the game an 11th time, it
 automatically deletes my 10th save.

 I am playing the Basic, Light version of KQ4 Ret VGA
 (https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/completed-game-announcements
 /kings-quest-iv-retold-vga-talkie-new-version/; See OP for an explanation
 of the four different versions). I checked the game by simply launching it
 in Windows and saves worked normally. The problem is definitely ScummVM.
