 I have the gog version (dvd) installed, all files from here:
 https://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php?title=Zork:_Grand_Inquisitor are
 exactly where they should be.

 mpeg videos on:
 speech only - crash
 subtitles only - crash
 speech and subtitles - crash

 mpeg videos off:
 speech only - crash
 subtitles only - crash
 speech and subtitles - crash

 it crashes no matter what i try.
 Widescreen and double fps does also not matter
 (options used from launcher AND from in game prefs)

 is there anything else i could try? i finally found time to play this
 game...
