 Take an item from the inventory, then go to MENU and start a New Game; the
 cursor will still be the item. (It is not really held and can't be placed
 in the inventory.)
 (It continues to be the cursor during the opening letter and the initial
 scene in the Rawleys' living room, but walking somewhere restores it to
 the correct cursor.)
