 While the scrollbar is held down (even without moving), CPU usage spikes,
 and the drawing while moving looks somewhat choppy.

 In this recording `top` runs on the left. Note scummvm using about 5-15%
 except when the scrollbar is held, when it goes to 100%, then down again
 on release.
