 I haven't really played checkers either, but of the many games in hoyle5
 it's one of the least incomprehensible to me. So it's quite possible that
 we were using the same playing style. :-) And you're right, it was some
 way into the game, and I was trying to chase down pieces.

 It's good to hear that you were able to reproduce it. Well, "good" if you
 were playing a version without your recent patch, at least.

 I wonder how the original interpreter handled this.
