 I have very few ideas about what may be happening here, but I have
 attached a set of savegames for the English CD version, since that's
 probably a lot more common. Fortunately the location of the book isn't
 determined until the moment Costa tells you that you have a deal. Though
 there is no easy way to immediately tell where it will be.

 For fun, I also tried with the Macintosh 68k version, since I always seen
 that as trying to be a poor man's MT-32. The sound seemed to work there.
