Comment:

 That is much closer to before! But, it is still just a little increased,
 maybe one or two pixels per line.
 In this attachment, original and ScummVM textboxes are overlaid.

 Oh, I've just realized I can show both original and ScummVM pixel-perfect,
 so I'll attach a diff of those too. Yeah, it looks like one extra pixel
 per line. (Incidentally this seems to show that ScummVM's text is also a
 single pixel farther left :p)
