 Many thanks for the response!

 I guess the stack issues relate to the way loading takes place. There is a
 Samsung binary (GPlayer) that loads ScummVM which is compiled as a shared
 object.

 I'm indeed not expecting too much, but it would be great if somebody would
 somehow have an idea :)
