New description:

I have 2 versions of this game a CD Macintosh version and a CD Windows
3.1/95 version both acquired from Japan.

The Windows version is recognised as

The Mac version is recognised as (v2/Macintosh/English) - The game and
manual are actually both dual language

I have tried to play through the game 3 times using ScummVM version
2026.1.0 and each time it crashes with the error message "ERROR:
readSpriteDataD2(): Miscomputed field position: -4:" This happens after
putting on the suit and attempting to open the next door. The log file is
empty, but I found someone else on Youtube with the same issue and that
video shows it better than I could ever describe.

Comment:

I have now tested both the Windows and Macv2 versions of the game in a
multitude of different ScummVM versions. Despite being listed on the
compatibility page as 'Good', the game will crash at the same place in
both versions of the game in every version of ScummVM since 2.7 including
 the latest daily build.

The crash does NOT happen when using scummvm-2.7.0-winxp-win32-x86_64.

I have changed the priority to 'high' based on this.
