This is a bug that is related to other reported pathfinding issues, but
 has an additional element.

When Roger Wilco is travelling inside Stellar and goes to the brain, the
correct way to advance is to use the fingernail to cut an opening and then
 go down through the hole.

The pathfinding problem enables Roger Wilco to walk over background images
and arrive to the place where the two bots are. Either way the player
arrives to that place, it is then possible to start throwing rocks at the
bots. The bots will start fighting and destroy each other.

Here is the problem: if the player arrives there by walking over
background images, instead of cutting the hole and then jumping over the
chasm, the next step causes a softlock. Roger Wilco can walk to the
elevator, but can't make the elevator move. It is not even possible to
jump over the chasm trying to release the softlock that way. Roger Wilco,
and the player, are stuck at the non-functioning elevator.

There are also some scaling issues where Roger Wilco is suddenly very
 small.

I have attached a savegame that is saved after the softlock has happened.

This problem has been observed using ScummVM 2026.1.0 Windows version.
Most likely the game version doesn't matter, but it is the original CD-ROM
 version of the game.
