 Hmm. I am not able to reproduce the issue on mine.

 I'm testing with ScummVM 2026.2.0 on Windows 10, with LSL6 Hi Res,
 1.000.000 (according to the "About" info panel and the "VERSION" game
 file). This is the GOG English version of the game.

 I loaded your attached saved game and then clicked the hand icon on the
 hood of the cart. The game gave me the points and opened the hood,
 revealing the close up view. I tried a few times (loading from the saved
 game) but still could not get the crash to happen.

 I also tested with a recent development build, and still no crash.

 Are you also testing on Windows? Maybe there's corrupted data files in
 your game folder? Can you re-install or verify the integrity of the files?
