 This was tested on Windows 10 x64 with a recent developer build of ScummVM
 2026.2.1git.

 Steps to reproduce:
 - Launch ScummVM
 - Set path for Icons (from Global Options -> Paths) to a custom one, eg.
 "D:\Games\ScummVMIcons" (not sure if this matters)
 - Go to Global Options -> GUI -> Download Icons.
 - If there are already icons downloaded, click on "Clear Cache" ->
 Proceed. Otherwise, first Download any available icons and then click on
 "Clear Cache".

 On mine, the clear cache process fails silently on the GUI side. Nothing
 changes to the message about icon packs available.

 On the console I get these messages:

 and a number of dat.tmp files were created in the icons folder.

 I had to delete the files manually, then relaunch ScummVM, in order to be
 able to download all the icons from the start.

 What I think is happening (gut feeling so far) is that the process fails
 because ScummVM is "using" one of the icons files, so the "clear cache"
 process fails altogether for some reason.
