 similar to demo bug:

 walking from below the stairs at the entrance of the meat plant
 CLICKING
 does not walk onto the stairs then exit.  character cannot exit normally

 double clicking works
 and keybaord walking from the LEFT of the stairs & clicking from LEFT of
 the stairs works
 if your character is Below the stairs, then a single click will not work.

 tested in dosbox-staging for confirmation
