#17355: SCI: GK1: High resolution graphics mode scales text and low-res graphics
unevenly (200→480 vertical stretch)

    Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: normal | Component: Engine: SCI
 Version: | Keywords:
    Game: Gabriel Knight 1 |
-----------------------------+-------------------------
With "Enable high resolution graphics" turned on, Gabriel Knight 1 CD
(DOS, or Windows) renders to a 640x480 screen, so the conversation
portraits and interface windows can be drawn at their native size. The
320x200 low-res graphics are doubled horizontally but stretched by 12/5
vertically, so source rows alternate between 2 and 3 pixels tall (in a 3,
 2, 3, 2, 2 pattern) instead of being a uniform 2.

This is most visible in text, especially dialogue menus. The same glyph
looks different depending on which row it lands on: a horizontal stroke
can be 2 or 3 pixels thick, and lines of text don't have consistent
 spacing.

The original interpreter has the same artifact, so this is faithful, but
 it's unpleasant.
