 I managed to get it working, but apparently there are different Italian
 versions of the game.

 In the version that didn't work, the file

 `cd1/Data/interface.vr`

 is missing. Instead, there is a file named

 `cd1/Data/interfac.vr` (without the final **e**).

 Both files have the same size, but the latter has the following hash:

 `c73f5a838c5ba080804f0746f71c1173`

 I also noticed that the executables differ in size:

 - `louvre.exe`: 192,512 bytes (working)
 - `louvre.exe`: 485,507 bytes
