 Testing with #17253 I found more details of this ticket. Like you
 explained, It seems that there is and inconsistency of how some engines
 shutdown and what is the launcher behaviour in those cases. That ticket
 and this ticket seems different faces of the same issue.

 In #17253, the option of ''Ask for confirmation on exit'' make the games
 exit to the launcher correctly. It is an option I usually have ON.

 But in this issue I noted that the games tested doesn't show the exit
 confirmation dialog when exiting normally from the game, even with the
 option ON, they just quit ScummVM entirely.

 However, If I exit those games anormally (using ALT+F4), the dialog shows
 and they quit to the launcher.

 In #17253, with AGS games, the ''Ask for confirmation on exit'' option
 matters and "mostly" fix the issue, but here, with the engines noted
 above, The option doesn't matter.
