#17435: Lever in Voltaic does not toggle correctly
--------------------------+---------------------------
Reporter: tomysshadow | Owner: (none)
    Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: normal | Component: Engine: Myst3
 Version: | Keywords:
    Game: Myst 3: Exile |
--------------------------+---------------------------
In the original PC release of Myst 3, the lever near the pressure valves
in Voltaic has a specific behaviour. When clicking on it, as soon as the
 mouse is down:
 1. The camera pans so the lever is centre on screen.
 2. Without holding down the mouse, moving the mouse drags the lever.
 3. You can only let go of the lever by clicking the mouse again a second
 time.

In ScummVM's implementation, it instead currently does this:
 1. The camera pans so the lever is centre on screen.
 2. You must continue holding the mouse down to move the lever.
 3. As soon as you let go of the mouse, the lever stops moving.

I'm not sure if this change was intended to aid usability, but if so it
doesn't work. There are many playthroughs on YouTube showing that
ScummVM's behaviour is confusing for players:

 - https://youtu.be/u7orSwibNnc?si=frb7-xp55REdaJgn&t=156
 - https://youtu.be/u4QcI1EHP6U?si=3UxmsBX43cSiSX8o&t=4390

This is unfortunate because it takes an already difficult puzzle and turns
a nearly unmissable interaction into one that is easily missed. I am aware
that ScummVM supports many platforms so it might not be possible to change
this everywhere, but at a minimum it should be fixed for devices that have
 a mouse and keyboard.

I will attach a save for the original PC release so that it is easy to
test and confirm the original behaviour.
