 I installed version 1.0 of the game, tested it there and attached a save.
 The behaviour in this version is the same: if you click the lever, you
 must click it again to release it. If you click and hold the lever, it is
 released when you let go of the mouse.

 In version 1.0, it is possible to drag the lever to the left on the lowest
 floor of the elevator, which is not possible in version 1.22, as mentioned
 in its changelog. However, the click vs. click and hold behaviour I
 described is unchanged.

 SafeDiscShim unfortunately does not work for version 1.0 of the game. I
 was able to use another utility called SafediscV2Cleaner to get it to work
 on Windows 11, but it is more of a hassle, so it'd probably be easier to
 use a VM to play this version if you also wanted to test version 1.0. In
 any case, I observed it working as described.
